Mad Men Casting Call ~ The Hunt for Votes is on

The hunt for votes begins. It is a little intimidating when you see the top contenders with votes in the thousands (the most popular has over 4000 votes!!) My friends and family are being very supportive, helping me wage a campaign on Facebook and Twitter. I have also posted to several Mad Men blogs and commented on Mad Men articles. I would really just love the chance for my photo to make the top 10 so that it can be judged on it's artistic merit and not just viral popularity. I am looking forward to the Season 4 premiere on AMC tonight. If you haven't checked the show out yet, tonight would be a good time as spoilers (which I have tried to avoid) suggest a new beginning, almost like a new show with the same characters. AMC's Mad Men Casting Call ~ I need your votes!!

So, my fiance and I absolutely love the AMC drama, Mad Men. Set in 1960's New York around the lives of Madison Avenues advertising industry! The attention to detail on Mad Men is amazing featuring some of the greatest set's, costumes and props you will find in any period set piece on television or film. The story lines are rich and intricate and never dull! Season 4 starts tomorrow, July 25th on AMC but you can rent/buy Season's 1-3 on Netflix or iTunes, to name a few.
AMC in partnership with Banana Republic is sponsoring a Mad Men Casting Call. Fans were asked to get creative and show off their Mad Men style! The 20 pictures with the most votes will move on to the finals and be judged by the creator of Mad Men, Matthew Weiner. The winner will get a walk on role to Mad Men and 2 semi-finalists will win gift certificates to Banana Republic. My fiance and I spent an afternoon playing around with the camera (and me digging through my closet!!) to create our vision of 1960's decadence and glamour!!
